Dr. J. Lawrence Hutta
Dr. Hutta is one of the most celebrated orthodontists in the entire Midwest. Known in Central Ohio for his dedication to amazing results, his passion for his craft and emerging techniques, and his caring personality, it’s no surprise that tens of thousands of families have trusted their smiles to Dr. J. Lawrence Hutta. Dr. Hutta’s skills are so advanced and sought after that he has had orthodontists from around the country and even as far away as Japan make the journey to Ohio to study his techniques. He is also educating the next generation of dentists and orthodontists at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he is on faculty and lectures several times a month.
Dr. Hutta graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he was selected into the prestigious dental honorary society, Omicron Kappa Epsilon. Dr. Hutta went on to complete his general dental residency and a two-year graduate program in orthodontics at the University of Rochester School of Dentistry/Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Dr. Hutta is a member of the prestigious American Association of Orthodontics, the Ohio Dental Association, and The Columbus Dental Society. He also has the honor of being a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics, a special distinction held by a select number of orthodontists.
A proud supporter of the community, Dr. Hutta supports local elementary schools and gives scholarships to deserving high school graduates. He is the proud father of three girls: Lexie, Tori, and Tayce. When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, you can find Dr. Hutta attending an OSU football or basketball game, playing golf, or spending time with family.
Dr. Pegah Kamrani
Dr. Pegah Kamrani is a skilled orthodontist who brings with her a deep passion for healthy smiles, which began in her own childhood. Growing up with an underbite, she experienced firsthand the transformative power of orthodontic care. Her positive journey with her orthodontist corrected her smile and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a similar impact on others.
Dr. Kamrani attended Columbia University with a degree in neuroscience and competed as a Division I athlete in cross country and track. She studied at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry, where she received her DDS. Later she completed her orthodontic residency at Ohio State University, where she earned her orthodontic certificate and a master’s degree. Dr. Kamrani is skilled in advanced orthodontic treatments, including early treatment, braces, and clear aligners. Every day, she strives to provide personalized and effective care that reflects her high qualifications and previous experience as a patient.
Outside the office, Dr. Kamrani is an avid runner, training for marathons and competing alongside the Columbus Running Company Elite Team. She loves spending her free time with friends and family (she is one of four sisters!) and cheering for the Carolina Tar Heels and Ohio State Buckeyes. She looks forward to becoming an integral part of the Columbus community, transforming smiles, and changing lives.
