At Hutta Orthodontic Specialists, we never want cost to be a barrier to a healthy, confident smile. It’s our mission to provide high-quality care that is accessible for your budget. We offer a variety of payment and financing options as well as accept insurance benefits.
Maximizing Insurance
When you schedule your initial consultation, our appointment coordinator will ask about your insurance. Before you come into our office, we will reach out to your insurance company to find out more information about your orthodontic benefits. Since orthodontic benefits have a lifetime maximum and sometimes an age maximum, they are different from general dental benefits. Insurance coverage varies greatly. Not all plans are the same—even within the same insurance company.
If your employer provides you with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) rather than dental insurance, this can be useful in paying for your treatment. Funds deposited into an FSA are not subject to income tax and can save you money compared to paying out of pocket. If you have both insurance coverage and an FSA, you can use your FSA for copays and deductibles.

Payment & Financial Treatment
Outside of insurance, we also offer several financing options to help you afford a healthy, confident smile. At the end of your initial consultation, we will provide you with a detailed financial estimate and walk you through each associated cost. Included in this financial estimate will be information on the total fee for treatment and insurance coverage. In it, we will also outline three different payment and financing options.
Option 1: Pay In Full
This option offers the best opportunity for savings. There are special discounts available to you if you pay with cash, check, credit card, flex spending, or health savings.
Option 2: In-House Financing
We offer in-house financing to all our patients. At the beginning of treatment, you would give us a down payment and make interest-free payments over the length of your treatment timeline.
CareCredit
CareCredit is a medical credit account you can apply for at carecredit.com. CareCredit allows you to finance treatment over long-term payment plans, some of which are interest free.
