Tips and Emergency Care
We know, we know: Vacation is a welcome break from the usual routine. But while you’re receiving orthodontic treatment, try not to take a vacation from your normal oral hygiene habits. When you’re far away from your orthodontist’s office, you need to follow the rules regarding sticky, crunchy, chewy foods, and just stay away! Keep brushing three times a day—even if it’s just with water—and keep flossing and rinsing with mouthwash daily.
